I enjoyed reading your detailed review of the SMT5600. I have been hearing lots of good things about this smartphone, but I am a T-Mobile subscriber, and am not ready to move over to Cingular. Can you clue the rest of your readers and me into where you picked up the phone and ended up unlocking the phone? I would like to give the phone a try as I have tried and grown tired of the T-Mobile smartphone options, but like the service. Many thanks in advance. Brian Gillet

Expansys has equivalent phones (the iMate SP3i and Qtek 8020) available unlocked. I bought a Qtek and put my T-Mobile SIM in it...works just fine.
