Just got the pleasure of a visit from Heath Row on this post, in which I was asking what FC had done with our votes for best VC blogs. Answer: Best Business Blogs: Venture Capital are declared in the March issue of Fast Company.
Though it is not exactly clear which criteria was used (and who cares after all, it's FC's decision), the "winners" are:
- Feld Thoughts - Brad Feld
- Beyond VC - Ed Sim
- The J Curve - Steve Jurvetson
- Southeast VC - Jason Caplain
- Infectious Greed - Paul Kedrosky
- Venture Cronicles - Jeff Nolan
I have been reading these blogs, some for a long time, and so I agree that they are all contributing something to the community. Like the editor of the article, I just wish Steve would grace us with more of his thoughtful posts (not too many, they take time to sink in) and that he'd stop splicing his (otherwise spectacular) pictures in his main feed. And welcome to Jason, who's started blogging only recently (yeah right, like I was a veteran myself, having started last June).
Anyone missing ? Well, like the Oscars, you can't always win, but I would still list grandad VentureBlog, especially given that David has started posting again after taking some time off-blog. One could argue that he does not need to always be on the front page, like in this piece.
Congrats Boys!
