ETech: Starting

Image_679Rael Dornfest is up, presenting the themes of the conference: Open Source, Remix: video/music/text/IT/Bricks&Mortar, even space!

In just a few minutes I bumped into Stewart Butterfield, Adam Rifkin, John Battelle, Greg Reinacker, Mary Hodder and am now sitting next to Cory Doctorow and Doc Searls. And here comes Greg Elin.

There are so many people that some are sitting on the floor. Amazing that Wifi actually works OK.

Update: Silicon Valley Watcher has a comprehensive coverage of Day 1.  Very busy schmoozing, so posting light this afternoon.
