Just got pinged by Master Eric Rice on his funding announcement: Audioblog.com secures funding to launch podcast and videoblog service and portal in Japan, Korea and China.
This is an exciting news , especially as Eric looks at entering the relatively untapped Asian market leveraging the experience of a great partner. No terms disclosed in Eric's post:
I'm excited to announce funding, as well as a partnership between Audioblog.com and Transcosmos Investments, (The US investment arm of Transcosmos Japan) and Tokyo-based J-Stream, a media infrastructure provider.
Together, we'll be launching our existing podcast and videoblog service and portal in the region for mobile and computer-based customers.

Congrats to Eric and the Audioblog.com team!
And as usual, Om broke it. Wonder if he got the scoop at the SimplyFired dinner.

It couldn't happen to a nicer guy, and a cooler technology. Now, I just need to podcast more.
