Forbes Technology Midas List 2006

If you are interested in tracking the Who's who in the Technology Dealmakers ecosystem, take a look at the 2006 Forbes Midas List. Not surprisingly, 7 of the top 10 were involved in some way in Google. Of note: Mike Moritz, the top Midas touch of this year and backer of Google, Yahoo and Paypal, ventures that Consumer Tech fad is played out.

Two firms have 4 nominees in the list this year: Bessemer Venture Partners (Robert Stavis, Felda Hardymon, Robert Goodman, David Cowan) and New Enterprise Associates (Ryan Drant, Scott D Sandell, Peter Morris , Sigrid Van Bladel).

Always amazing when they put out these lists....guys show up you never expect. It is always great to see hard working firms like Doll show up in addition to the usual ones.
