My friend Clare Hart has recently joined the blogosphere with her blog “From the Hart”, and it is a good thing. As the founding CEO of Factiva, which was created by merging the business information units of Dow Jones and Reuters, she can offer a unique perspective on the business information industry. Factiva has traditionally aggregated thousands of publications, and normalized their metadata into a common taxonomy. Blogs and RSS, as new sources of content and a powerful distribution mechanism, will no doubt have an impact on Factiva's corporate business. We can only hope that Clare will share with us some of her insights.
