Please complete the Web 2.0 Map

Fourio has built a cool (Google) map positionning US Web 2.0 startups. Whilst a large number of companies are already referenced, there is still a lot of work to do to complete the mapping. The todo list indicates which companies have yet to be mapped, and it would be great that companies that are not listed or are incomplete send their URL, one sentence description and location info (city, state, lat/long) into an email to contact@fourio.com. Companies arleady listed should also check their geo-location data for accuracy.

Great initiative! (Below is a map showing Web 2.0 startups in and around Palo Alto, CA).

Jeff,

It's not just US start-ups on the map, eh ;_)

I'm glad you like it and thanks for the recruiting help! We hope to have a good number more up by the end of the week. I'm already drowning in submissions (which is a good thing in my book, since the interest is high).

Jeff, thanks for the positive comments and the great call to action! As one of the Fourio guys, we'd love to see the Innovation Map explode with entries. It's been a great resource for our team internally to track what's going on in web development, and Ryan thought it was worth sharing with the web community at large. Comments and feedback are welcome. Thanks again!

This is really cool and useful.
