Microsoft has another RSS evangelist: Niall Kennedy

I must admit that when I read this announcement on Niall's blog, I double checked the date to make sure it was not an April Fool's prank (ala Jeremy Z at Google and Matt Cuts join Yahoo). I have not had a chance to chat with Niall about it yet, but apparently he is joining the Borg Microsoft to put together a syndication platform for Live.com and make RSS easier for developers to leverage. Amen to that.
In just a couple of years, Niall has become a well known figure in the Valley tech scene, and earned streets creds on everything RSS, syndication and technology at large. And he co-hosts one of my “must listen” weekly podcasts: the Om and Niall Podsessions.

Congrats Dude, looking forward to the celebration. And well done to Microsoft for snatching Niall, I was really expecting to see him show up somewhere else.

Thanks Jeff! I just arrived in Maui and I am heading to the beach soon.

Hope Search SIG went well.
